Methods: 32 hemi-paretic patients in experimental and control groups (16 patients in each group) participated in this study. Patients in the experimental group wore shoes for 6 weeks with a lift of 6 mm thickness embedded in non-paretic side to increase weight symmetry and performed balance and gait re-education exercises for 90 minutes daily. Patients of the control group only received therapeutic exercises. Assessments were included percentage of body weight on the affected limb, gait velocity; stride length, timed up and go and Berg Balance Scale tests that were recorded in both groups before and after treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment. Results: All variables showed significant improvement following treatment and improvement effects were maintained during follow up examinations. In the experimental group, percentage of weight bearing on the paretic limb also increased significantly in follow up. The percentage of weight bearing on the paretic limb and BBS score increased more in the experimental group than in the control group (P=0.001). Conclusion: Compelled weight bearing on the paretic limb and re-education of balance and gait caused more improvement in weight symmetry and functional balance in individuals with chronic stroke.}, keywords = {Stroke,Weight bearing,Balance,Gait}, title_fa = {اثر تنظیم تقارن وزن بر عملکرد تعادل و راه رفتن در بیماران سکته مغزی مزمن}, abstract_fa = {هدف: هدف این مطالعه بررسی تاثیر تحمل وزن اجباری بهمراه تمرین درمانی بر آزمونهای عملکردی تعادل و راه رفتن در بیماران سکته مغزی بود. روش بررسی: 32 بیمار همی پارزی در گروههای تجربی و کنترل (16 بیمار در هر گروه) در این مطالعه شرکت نمودند. بیماران گروه تجربی کفشهایی را که یک کفی به ضخامت 6 میلیمتر در سمت سالم به منظور افزایش تقارن وزن جاسازی شده بود بمدت شش هفته پوشیدند و روزانه 90 دقیقه تمرینات بازآموزی تعادل و راه رفتن را انجام دادند. بیماران گروه کنترل فقط تمرینات درمانی را دریافت کردند. ارزیابی‌ها شامل درصد تحمل وزن بر اندام مبتلا، سرعت راه رفتن، طول گام، آزمون (Timed up and go; TUG) و آزمون (Berg Balance Scale; BBS) بود که قبل و پس از درمان و 3 ماه پس از خاتمه درمان در هر دو گروه ثبت شدند. یافته ها: بررسی‌های درون گروهی نشان داد که در هر دو گروه، کلیه متغیرها در پایان درمان بهبودی معنی داری نشان دادند و اثرات بهبودی در دوره پیگیری حفظ شد. در گروه تجربی، درصد تحمل وزن بر اندام مبتلا در دوره پیگیری نیز افزایش معنی‌دار داشت. مقایسه یافته‌های بین گروهی نشان داد که درصد تحمل وزن بر اندام مبتلا و آزمون BBS افزایش بیشتری در گروه تجربی نسبت به گروه کنترل داشتند (0/001=p). نتیجه گیری: تحمل وزن اجباری بر اندام مبتلا به همراه بازآموزی تعادل و راه رفتن باعث بهبودی بیشتر تقارن وزن و تعادل عملکردی در بیماران سکته مغزی مزمن شد.}, keywords_fa = {سکته مغزی,تحمل وزن,تعادل,راه رفتن}, url = {https://jpsr.mums.ac.ir/article_4078.html}, eprint = {https://jpsr.mums.ac.ir/article_4078_eb31942da1c1dad4f224be8d8251993a.pdf} }
