The level of performance of these patients can be affected by cognitive disorders and especially visual-spatial memory. Cognitive rehabilitation can help improve cognitive functions. It also seems that electrical brain stimulation via transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) can increase the working memory of these patients. In this study, we intend to investigate the effect of occupational therapy with TDCS on visual-spatial memory function and visual learning in this group of patients.Methods:The present study is an interventional study in the form of a clinical trial with a double blind, pretest-posttest design. 24 people were selected by convenient non probability sampling method and randomly assigned into the control/intervention group. The intervention was conducted in 12 sessions of 20 minutes. The anode electrode was placed on the left F3 or left Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex (DLPFC) region and the cathode electrode was placed in the supraorbital region on the opposite side. All participants performed 3 cognitive tasks related to visual-spatial memory in each session and also received psychosocial occupational therapy services for 30 minutes. Participants' visual-spatial memory and learning were assessed by Spatial Recognition Memory (SRM) and Paired Associate Learning (PAL).Results:The results of the study showed that the application of electrical brain stimulation along with cognitive tasks and occupational therapy services can significantly increase (p<0.05) visual-spatial memory as well as visual learning. The results of SRM (P=0.004) test after the intervention were significantly different between the two groups. The results of PAL test (p=0.01) were also significant after the intervention.Conclusion:The present study has found that if electrical stimulation is accompanied by cognitive tasks and occupational therapy, the function of visual-spatial memory and visual learning can be strengthened in a short time.}, keywords = {Schizophrenia,Visuospatial memory,Occupational Therapy,Cognitive dysfunctions,Rehabilitation,Brain ‎electrical stimulation}, title_fa = {تاثیر مداخلات کاردرمانی و تحریک الکتریکی مغز بر عملکرد حافظه دیداری- فضایی در مردان بزرگسال دارای ‏اسکیزوفرنی}, abstract_fa = {هدف:اسکیزوفرنی یکی از ناتوان کننده ترین اختلالات روان شناختی و یکی از شایع ترین سایکوزها (Psychosis) می باشد. سطح عملکرد این بیماران می تواند تحت تاثیر اختلالات شناختی و به خصوص حافظه دیداری- فضایی قرار گیرد. توانبخشی شناختی می تواند به بهبود عملکردهای شناختی کمک کند. همچنین به نظر می رسد تحریک الکتریکی مغز (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation; TDCS) نیز می تواند حافظه فعال این بیماران را افزایش دهد. در این مطالعه قصد داریم به بررسی اثر کاردرمانی به همراه TDCS بر عملکرد حافظه دیداری- فضایی و یادگیری دیداری در این گروه از بیماران بپردازیم.روش بررسی:پژوهش حاضر از نوع مطالعه مداخله ای به صورت کارآزمایی بالینی با طرح پیش آزمون- پس آزمون دو گروهی و دو سو کور می باشد. در این پژوهش 24 نفر به روش نمونه گیری غیر احتمالی در دسترس انتخاب شدند و به صورت تصادفی به دو گروه مداخله و کنترل تقسیم شدند. مداخله به صورت 12 جلسة 20 دقیقه ای برگزار شد. الکترود آند در منطقة F3 یا همان DLPFC چپ و الکترود کاتد روی منطقة سوپرا اوربیتال (Supra Orbital) سمت مقابل قرار داده شد. تمام شرکت کنندگان هر جلسه 3 تمرین شناختی  مربوط به حافظه دیداری - فضایی انجام دادند و همچنین به مدت 30 دقیقه خدمات کاردرمانی روانی- اجتماعی دریافت کردند. عملکرد حافظه دیداری – فضایی  بیماران به  وسیله دو آزمون حافظه شناسایی فضایی (Spatial Recognition Memory; SRM) و یادگیری وابسته زوجی (Paired Associate Learning; PAL)، مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت.یافته ها:نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که استفاده از تحریک الکتریکی مغز به همراه تمرینات شناختی و خدمات کاردرمانی می تواند باعث افزایش معنادار (0/05>p) عملکرد حافظه دیداری- فضایی و همچنین یادگیری دیداری شود. نتایج SRM (p=0/004) بعد از مداخله بین دو گروه تفاوت معنادار داشت. نتایج تست PAL (p=0/01) نیز بعد از مداخله معنادار شد.نتیجه گیری:در این مطالعه مشخص شد که در صورت همراهی تحریک الکتریکی با تمرینات شناختی و کاردرمانی، می توان در مدت کوتاهی عملکرد حافظه دیداری- فضایی و یادگیری دیداری را تقویت نمود.}, keywords_fa = {اسکیزوفرنی,حافظه دیداری- فضایی,کاردرمانی,اختلالات شناختی,توانبخشی,تحریک الکتریکی مغز}, url = {https://jpsr.mums.ac.ir/article_19749.html}, eprint = {https://jpsr.mums.ac.ir/article_19749_d2b2e089682ad1cd5f1ec43ecd801626.pdf} }
