هدف: آرتروز زانو یک بیماری غضروف مفصلی زانو بوده که موجب تغییراتی در عملکرد جسمی افراد میشود. هدف تحقیق حاضر مقایسه تأثیر تمرینات اصلاحی و تحریک الکتریکی عضلانی (EMS) بر درد و حس عمقی زانوی زنان میانسال مبتلا به زانو درد بود. روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر از نوع نیمهتجربی و کاربردی با طرح پیشآزمون و پسآزمون بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه زنان 60-50 ساله مبتلا به درد آرتروز زانوی شهر اصفهان بود. تعداد 30 نفر از جامعه مذکور به صورت در دسترس و هدفمند انتخاب و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه تمرینات اصلاحی (15 نفر) (سن: 4/1±58/40 سال، قد: 3/1±158/19 سانتیمتر، وزن: 6/7±71/32 کیلوگرم) و تمرینات EMS (15 نفر) (سن: 6/4±56/08 سال، قد: 4/4±157/18 سانتیمتر، وزن: 4/01±73/05 کیلوگرم) قرار گرفتند. هر دو گروه به مدت هشت هفته و هر هفته سه جلسه و هر جلسه به مدت 30 تا 60 دقیقه تمرینات خود را انجام دادند. قبل و بعد از تمرینات درد و حس عمقی مفصل زانوی بیماران مبتلا به ترتیب با مقیاس بصری درد (VAS) و دستگاه ایزوکنتیک بایودکس اندازه گیری شد. تحلیل داده ها با آزمون سنجش مکرر ترکیبی در سطح معنی داری 0/05 انجام شد. یافته ها: در خصوص درد برای گروه اصلاحی بین قبل (1/72±6/11) و بعد (1/25±3/25) و گروه EMS بین قبل (1/12±6/71) و بعد (1/45±4/05) تفاوت معناداری مشاهده شد (0/001=p). در خصوص حس عمقی برای زاویه 30 درجه برای گروه اصلاحی بین قبل (1/2±5/27) و بعد (1/08±4/12) و گروه EMS بین قبل (1/58±4/84) و بعد (1/03±4/12) و حس عمقی زاویه 60 درجه برای گروه اصلاحی بین قبل (0/54±6/07) و بعد (0/27±5/02) و گروه EMS بین قبل (1/17±5/11) و بعد (1/14±4/89) تفاوت معناداری مشاهده شد (0/001=p). نتایج تغییرات بین گروهی برای حس عمقی 60 درجه (η2=0/52, p=0/017, F(1,28)=0/201) حسعمقی 30 درجه (η2=0/41, p=0/017, F(1,28)=11/17) و درد (η2=0/21, p=0/034, F(1,28)=14/017) نیز معنادار بود و تمرینات در گروه اصلاحی موثرتر بود. نتیجه گیری: نتایج بیانگر موثر بودن هر دو برنامه تمرینی بوده، اما برنامه تمرینات اصلاحی بر بهبود فاکتورهای درد و حس عمقی مفصل زانو موثرتر از گروه EMS بود. بنابراین کاردرمانان می توانند از نتایج این تحقیق در درمان بیماران استفاده کنند.
